Format for Information on Refrigerants
Recommends the types of information that should be available when a new refrigerant is commercialized. Provides system designers and application engineers the data they need to select appropriate applications for new refrigerants. Covers six main subjects: basic chemical data; thermodynamic data at saturation and in the superheat region; thermophysical data as a function of temperature; safety, health, and environmental information; materials compatibility data; and refrigerant lubricant, miscibility, and solubility data.
