ASIS WVPI AA-2020

Workplace Violence and Active Assailant – Prevention, Intervention, and Response Standard

This Standard provides an overview of policies, processes, and protocols that organizations can adopt to help identify, assess, respond to, and mitigate threatening or intimidating behavior and violence affecting the workplace. It describes the implementation of a workplace violence prevention and intervention (WVPI) program and personnel within organizations who typically become involved in prevention and intervention efforts. In addition, this Standard now includes an annex which provides actionable information and guidance relative to prevention, intervention, and response to incidents involving an active assailant/active shooter.

ASIS PSC.1-2022

Management System for Private Security Company Operations Standard – Requirements with Guidance

This Standard builds on the Montreux Document and the International Code of Conduct (ICoC) for Private Security Service Providers to provide requirements and guidance for a management system to support quality security operations delivery and associated risk management consistent with respect for human rights, legal obligations, and good practices in circumstances of weakened governance where the rule of law has been undermined due to human or naturally caused events. It provides auditable requirements based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act model for third-party certication of private security service providers working for any client. This Standard aims to improve the services provided by PSCs while maintaining the safety and security of their operations and clients.

ANSI/ASIS/RIMS RA.1-2015

Risk Assessment

This Standard provides guidance on developing and sustaining a coherent and effective risk assessment program including principles, managing an overall risk assessment program, and performing individual risk assessments, along with confirming the competencies of risk assessors and understanding biases. This Standard describes a well-defined risk assessment program and individual assessments to provide the foundation for the risk management process. Seven annexes provide additional guidance for applying risk assessments and potential treatments.
