Risk Management for Building Water Systems: Physical, Chemical, and Microbial Hazards

Establishes minimum requirements to reduce illness and injury from physical, chemical, and microbial hazards from water systems in buildings. Applies to the design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and expansion of new and existing building water systems (potable and nonpotable) and components. Applies to human-occupied commercial, institutional, multiunit residential, assembly, educational, and industrial buildings. This standard does not include single-family residential buildings. Intended for owners, authorities having jurisdiction, and those involved in the design, construction, management, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and service of centralized building water systems and components. Dual units of measurement.
