Performance Requirements for Temperature Actuated Mixing Valves for Hot Water Distribution Systems
These devices are used for controlling in-line water temperatures in domestic potable hot water systems and shall be installed at the hot water source. They are not intended for end use application. They shall consist of a hot water and a cold water inlet connection and a mixed water outlet connection plus a temperature sensing and controlling element and a means for adjusting the outlet water temperature.
