Safety of machinery. Safety requirements for the design and construction of paper-making and finishing machines. Common requirements (British Standard)


This standard applies to machinery, plant and equipment for the manufacture and finishing of pulp, paper, paperboard, fibreboard and non-woven fabric in the wet process as well as for the coating of base paper. In the meaning of this standard, the generic term paper making and paper finishing machinery is understood to be machinery, installations and equipment with which pulp or paper fibres are obtained, processed and joined together to form and finish paper, board, tissue and fibreboard.
