Building hardware - Powered pedestrian doors - Part 1: Product requirements and test methods (Foreign Standard)

This standard contains requirements regarding design and test methods for drive units, leaves and components of powered doors in pedestrian areas. Such door constructions may be operated electro-mechanically, electro-hydraulically or pneumatically. Doors can be of sliding, hinged and revolving type with a horizontally moved leaf. Powered pedestrian doors might be used at entrances, in interior locations, in escape routes and emergency exits, as well as on smoke and fire doors. This standard does not cover assemblies of which the leaves are moved vertically.
