Steel wire ropes - Safety - Part 4: Stranded ropes for general lifting applications (FOREIGN STANDARD)

This Part of this European Standard specifies the requirements for stranded ropes for general lifting applications lifting. It should be read in conjunction with Part 1 of this standard. Minimum breaking force values for the more common classes, sizes and grades of rope are provided in tables 4 to 16. Annex A gives the method of calculation of minimum breaking force for the more common classes and grades of rope.
