This specification covers three grades of kerosene type aviation turbine fuel, JP-8 (NATO F-34), NATO F-35, and JP-8+100 (NATO F-37). Synthesized hydrocarbons from new sources require specific guidance that is outside the scope of MIL-DTL-83133. This guidance is found in ASTM D7566.
