Materials and articles in contact with foodstuffs - Plastics - Part 2: Test methods for overall migration in vegetable oils

This document determines procedures for measuring the overall migration of materials and objects made of plastic intended for contact with food, in which the test patterns are brought into contact with vegetable oils, which are at a temperature of larger or equally 4 ° C and smaller or equally 175 ° C are kept. The overall migration from a sample of the plastic is given as the mass loss of non -volatile substances: - per surface unit; or - per kg of the test life agent; Or - each object determines after contact with a test fluid under defined conditions. Depending on the type of materials or shape of the objects, the test levy is contacted either on only one surface (bag, cell, filling) or diving through. This document does not cover the evaluation of the results, which probably requires official requirements.
