Aircraft ground support equipment - Specific requirements - Part 7: Aircraft movement equipment

This document lays down the technical requirements for minimising the hazards listed in section 4 which may occur during the commissioning, operation and maintenance of aircraft towing equipment when used as intended, including a reasonably foreseeable misapplication by the manufacturer if carried out in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer or his agent. It also takes into account some performance requirements deemed essential by official bodies, aircraft and ground equipment manufacturers, as well as air and handling companies. This document applies to aircraft tugs with driver's seat, - remotely operated aircraft towing equipment and towbars used in all operations involving aircraft towing equipment, e.B. - pushback and maintenance towing.
