Natural stone test methods - Petrographic examination

This document lays down procedures for technical petrographic descriptions of natural stone, with the exception of roof slate. For this product, the method of petrographic examination is defined in EN 12326-2. Although chemical and physical analysis methods are required for the classification of some types of rock, these methods are not described in this standard.
