Bituminous mixtures - Test methods - Part 10: Compactability
This European Standard describes three test methods for characterizing the compactability of asphalts by the ratio between density or air entrainment and the compression energy applied by a percussion compressor (Marshall compressor), gyrator compressor or vibratory compactor. This European Standard applies to both asphalt produced in the laboratory and in the asphalt mixing plant. The results of the test procedure serve to supplement the results from the conception of the bituminous mixture.
