Natural stone test methods - Determination of sensitivity to accidental staining

This document specifies a method for assessing the sensitivity of natural stones exposed to unwanted staining. It specifies a procedure for applying the stains as well as for cleaning and evaluating the surface finish after cleaning. It also deals with the possibility of assessing the effectiveness of a chemical treatment. It should be noted that the treated method is not intended to offer a technique for stain removal.
