Identification of vehicles and infrastructures compatibility - Graphical expression for consumer information on EV power supply


This document establishes uniform identifiers for the power supply of electric vehicles. The requirements of this standard are intended to complement the information needs of users with regard to compatibility between charging stations, line sets and vehicles on the market. The identifier, as described in this document, is intended for charging stations, vehicles, line sets, e-vehicle dealers and manuals. The power supply for electric vehicles uses vehicle plugs, sockets, connectors and plugs as described in EN IEC 61851-1:- and EN 62196-1:2014. For each uniform identifier, this European standard defines the size, shape, colour and other information relevant to compatibility detection and the place of affixing.
