Rubber and plastics hoses and tubing - Measurement of flexibility and stiffness - Part 2: Bending tests at sub-ambient temperatures (ISO 10619-2:2017)

This document specifies two methods for measuring the stiffness and a procedure for determining the pliability of rubber and plastic hoses with or without deposit, where the tubes at temperatures below ambient temperature up to a set Bend RADIUS. Procedure A is suitable for non-collapsible rubber and plastic hoses with or without deposit with a hole up to 25 mm. The procedure provides a way to measure the stiffness of the tube with and without deposit, if the temperature is decreased starting from a standard laboratory temperature. Procedure B is suitable for rubber and plastic hoses with and without deposit with a drilling up to 100 mm and provides a way to assess the flexibility of the hoses with and without deposit, if they at a fixed temperature below ambient temperature be bent around a bending mandrel. This procedure can also as a routine examination in the Qualitätsle...
