Measurement of radioactivity in the environment - Air: radon-222 - Part 5: Continuous measurement methods of the activity concentration (ISO 11665-5:2020)

This document describes continuous measurement methods for 222Rs. There is evidence for the continuous measurement of the temporal change in radon activity concentration in open and enclosed atmospheres. This document is used to assess the temporal fluctuations in the concentration of radon activity in the environment, in public buildings, in residential buildings and workplaces, depending on factors such as ventilation and/or meteorological conditions. The described measurement method is applicable to air samples with radon activity concentrations greater than 5 Bq/m3.
