This document sets out the principles for and the demands on the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and the removal of greenhouse gases at the organizational level. It contains requirements for planning, creation, management, reporting and verification of greenhouse gas balance of an organization. The series of standards ISO 14064 is neutral towards climate protection programs. If a climate change programme is applicable, the this climate protection program requirements in addition to the requirements of the standards ISO 14064.
