This document lays down safety requirements for stepper, stair climbing and climber appliances (hereafter referred to as training devices) used either from a standing or seated position. These requirements are in addition to the General safety requirements according to ISO 20957-1; This document is intended to be read in conjunction. This document applies to stationary training equipment of types stepper, stair climbing devices and climber within the classes S and H. additional requirements are provided for the accuracy class A.
