Requirements for sleeping bags - Part 1: Thermal, mass and dimensional requirements for sleeping bags designed for limit temperatures of -20 °C and higher (ISO 23537-1:2022)
This document places the requirements, test methods and other provisions for marking sleeping bags for adults that are used in sports and leisure activities at a border temperature of larger or equally -20 ° C, with regard to the thermal properties, dimensions and the mass. This document describes the procedure for assessing the performance of a sleeping bag regarding protection against cold in constant conditions. This document is not to be applied for sleeping bags that are intended for special purposes, such as: B. military use and use in expeditions in extreme climate zones. It cannot be used for sleeping bags for children or infants.
