This International Standard lays down minimum requirements for the content of certificates for homogeneous gas mixtures in gas cylinders to be used as calibration gas mixtures. Pure gases when used as calibration gas mixtures are covered by this International Standard. Gases and gas mixtures produced for other uses are not taken into account. The requirements in this International Standard relate to the measurement aspects of calibration gas mixtures. Others, such as security or legislative aspects, are not covered. This International Standard lays down additional recommended information (voluntary information) for the labelling of homogeneous gas mixtures supplied under pressure in compressed gas cylinders or other containers. It does not contain any provisions on safety information and labelling.
