Information technology - Security techniques - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of information security management systems (ISO/IEC 27006:2015, including Amd. 1:2020)
This International Standard sets requirements and provides guidance for bodies that carry out audits and certifications of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). In addition, the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 27001 apply. It is mainly used to support the accreditation of certification bodies that perform ISMS certifications. The requirements in this standard require proof of competence and reliability from any body performing ISMS certifications, and the guidance in this International Standard allows the further interpretation of these requirements for each body performing ISMS certifications.
