This standard specifies safety requirements for gas-burning appliances for domestic use and their accessories (referred to as burning appliances and accessories), responsibilities and obligations of producers, sales people, gas suppliers, setup people and consumers, the inspection for burning appliances and accessories, and the setup, acceptance check, use, maintenance, uselessness determination and accident management of burning appliances. It applies to the safety management of burning appliances and their accessories for domestic use that use town gas.
