This standard includes considerations relevant to commonly employed electromechanical shock and vibration measurement transducers, but not to those transducers primarily designed for measurement of acoustic or pressure phenomena. In general, the tests and calibrations listed are pertinent to the transducer portion of integrated measuring systems, but are not intended to be comprehensive in regard to associated circuitry or electronic accessory intruments.
